WE GOT IT...!!

Ok so the 3rd planning meeting with Ryedale District Council's planning committee was held last night! Mr R is away on business so I was subjected to present to the committee about our concerns on the caveats the planners had imposed on us as part of their approval to our plans! Basically we had to reduce the domestic curtiledge and remove it from the application as we didn't need planning to put up trees and plant wild flowers (something they told us we DID need when we called them 4 months ago!) We duly resubmitted our plans and then the planners came back imposing that we seperate the wild meadow / orchard with a boundary ie: hedge or fence and had to get their permission to do this!! Needless to say this wasn't acceptable to us and I insisted on clarity to this condition and a conversation with the committee members ensued! The long shot is that we have to 'deliniate' the area in some way and by having grass and trees rather then a mowed lawn this would be enough to make it look different!! Planning was eventually granted - Thank goodness! Watch this space for future devlopments!

  1. Congratualations! Is it coincidence that planning permission is granted and Mr WoF is far away from proceedings......
